Q. Does The Comic Swap verify the trade so I don't get scammed by the other party?

A. The Comic Swap verifies the 2-party agreement and the books listed in the agreement before sending to the other party. If the other member doesn't send their books or honor their part of the agreement, they will be removed from the site and your books will be returned to the original owner.

Q. If the member wants to do a trade/money deal how do I ensure that I get the money portion?

A. The Comic Swap verifies all the graded books in the agreement are accurate and reported correctly. If there is a money component as part of the trade, that will be handled via PayPal "goods and services". This service has a satisfaction guarantee and customer support (see additional details on the "best practices" section as well as the PayPal link).

Q. How can I ensure that my books arrive safely?

A. It is your responsibility to insure/package the books to ship safely to The Comic Swap. Once The Comic Swap receives the books, as part of your fee to validate the swap, the books will be insured via The Comic Swap's insurance to ship to the other party safely.

Q. How can I determine where my books are in transit?

A. All books are shipped from The Comic Swap via FedEx. you will have a tracking number to track your books the entire journey.

When submitting PayPal payments to The Comic Swap, payments will be made through the parent company and show up as Alter Ego Comics LLC.
