Origin Story

I have been reading and collecting comics since I was 5 years old. In addition to immersing myself in the incredible journeys in these comics, this hobby (and passion project) has allowed me to meet and connect with an amazing comic-enthusiast community.

I have always enjoyed buying and trading comics as my interests in collecting changed. While comic shops and online auction platforms are great, there was a big disconnect between the comics I wanted, and the fees associated to sell my comics. In order to get the comics I wanted, I would have to sell or trade them with fees that ranged from 10-30+% of the comic value and lose that valuable equity in those books. Thus, thecomicswap.com was born.
